Worst.. christmas.. ever..

I am so mad right now, my manager cut back my shifts. This is exactly what happened in my last job, just when I really need money the most I have problems at work.

I haven't done any Christmas shopping yet, haven't really had any spare money. And it's in like 4 days! Maybe I'll just get everyone some nice cards.

Still haven't paid off the credit card, but it's not really my fault with all the crap going on right now.

Reeaaallly slow day at McD's today. It's weird, sometimes it gets crazy busy and other times it's totally dead. I'm making so many big macs that I start to think about it even when I'm not working, it's kinda scary! It takes about 20 seconds for me to make one now, I'm not sure whether to be proud or ashamed of that.

I'm really getting into a rut lately, my job is actually MORE boring than my old one. The people there are a little cooler at BK though, they're not as uptight. The manager is a little more fun too, he's still whiny but I think just about all managers are.

Well I finally got a new job. It's at Mcdonald's, my old rivals. Never thought I'd end up in a McJob but here I am.

I'll probably quit in a little while, I just need some money too keep afloat. Of course my parents are on my back again, at the worst possible time. They need to understand that I have money problems too.

Still haven't quite payed off my credit card balance, but it's slowly going down.

Well I had to go ask my parents for a little more money. They weren't too happy about it, they still want me to pay back the thousand bucks from a while back.


They don't know I went to California, I hope they don't find out either. They wouldn't be happy about me taking a trip and then asking for cash, that's for sure.

Well apparently my manager DID notice my slacking off, he fired me today. This really sucks, I need the money to pay off the bills. I've got a big credit card bill coming up too!

I tried to convince him to let me stay, but he went on and on about what a terrible worker I am. Whatever, he slacks off twice as much as I did. I need a new job really quick, I'm going to start printing out resumes...

Hey guys, I know it's been a while since I posted. Well I've got lots to tell!

We went down to California for what we thought was going to be a week, we enjoyed it so much we actually stayed for 10 days. I had to skip a couple of shifts at BK but I'd be surprised if my manager even noticed.

Having an extra 3 days on our trip made it cost a little more than we hoped for, so both of us are pretty much broke right about now. We stayed in a nice hotel, I put it on my credit card, so I don't have to pay for it yet. I never wanted to start carrying a balance but I think I'm going to have to.

We spent some time doing the tourist-y thing, we went to Disneyland, Universal Studios, the beach (of course!). It was tons of fun, if you see me ask for some pictures!

Our trip's coming up, we decided to take a road trip down to California - in my girlfriend's car. We wanted to go to Europe (she did, at least), but neither of us have the money. California will be plenty of fun anyways. It's been raining so hard, I can hardly wait to get in the sunshine...

My parents are back on my case again, they keep bugging me. It's about money, of course. They gave me just under a thousand bucks when I moved out, to help with the first few months' rent. Now they're acting like it was a loan, and they NEVER mentioned that when they gave it to me. I don't have a grand in my bank account, that's why I needed the money in the first place! On top of it they keep pressuring me to go to university or college or something. How do they expect me to do that and pay them back at the same time?

Besides, I need the money from my job right now. Maybe after I save a little, I can go back to school, but not this year.

I got my high school exam marks back from June. I actually did alright, which is a little surprising. I could have made it into a good university if I wanted, but I am really liking having my own freedom and money now.

I am still trying to save up for this trip with my girlfriend. She seems pretty excited about it too!

At the moment I haven't been getting enough hours at work, taking fewer hours has kinda put the strain on my wallet. Our stupid manager is on my case about something. I really don't like him, I hope he gets transferred or something soon. I could probably get a new job, but whatever, I'm doing okay so far. Maybe if things start to get really serious with my girlfriend we can move in together, that'll save some costs.

I've had lots of free time lately, I'm not quite doing full time shifts at BK lately.

The best part is that I don't even have to go to school again, and all my friends are stressing out about their next year at college! My job has got a little better too, my manager hasn't noticed me slacking off lately. A few other guys from work screw around too, it's pretty funny sometimes. They'll mess with customer's minds, try to convince them that we don't sell burgers or something. Of course we only do this when the manager is out, which is getting to be more frequent.

Good times so far this summer!

Hey guys, sorry for not updating my blog in so long. Not off to a very god start, huh? From now on I'll update it as much as I can. I haven't given up on it yet.

Those of you who don't know me should know that I work at Burger King. Yeah, I know, sounds like a boring job. It's not too bad but my manager can be suck an idiot some times. He caught me and a friend snacking and got all mad at me. What's the deal with that? I thought he was a cool guy, but I guess hes not.

Anyways, I am so glad I don't have to goto school in September like my friends. Even a crappy job like mine gives me way more freedom than being a broke student! Me and the girlfriend are planning a trip, I'll tell you more about that later. Right now I'm just going to enjoy my freedom, can't believe high school is finally over! Only took me an extra year to complete it, too.
